DIGITAL ENTRIES
21 December 2025
Initial entry to the UKPPA is via digital submission, which MUST be received by midnight (GMT) on 21 December 2025
FINALISTS
5 January 2026
The finalists will be notified via email by 5th January 2026. A certificate to acknowledge your achievement will be attached, with an invitation to submit prints for the final judging
PRINT DEADLINE
31 January 2026
Finalists must submit their printed entries by 31 January 2026. The address and full instructions for print size will be on your finalist notification
LIVE JUDGING
6 February 2026
Live judging and feedback on the prints will take place in Stoke on 6th February 2026. Entry is free for everyone who has entered the competition, but places are limited!

Flora, Fauna and animals photographed in their natural surroundings.

Maternity and Babies up to 4 months of age
wedding
Images taken at a real wedding or civil partnership, on the day the register or equivalent is signed.
STUDENT OR APPRENTICE
Images taken by people in full or part-time education, or enrolled in an apprentice scheme.Â
people
An image containing a person or people as the main subject.
pets
Pets and domesticated animals – from cats and dogs to horses and ferrets!
landscapes, pictorial and environmental
An image of our surrounding environment, including landscapes, sea, urban, astro, and architecture.

For everything else! Still life, sports and events, captive animals and more!
